woah, so surreal - i'm back at high leigh, the spiritual home of dotdashdashdot, it's really quite emotional :'-o
i'm here for the children's work advisers conference. which is nice. some good stuff, but as usual the best bits are coming between the sessions:
"protestantism took the word become flesh and turned it back into a word"
i'll let you ponder that whilst i head off to a workshop run by the liturgical commission...
oooh, in response to ben the archbishop may have a honda civic (nice 'car of the people' we thought) but it's still chauffeur driven... (pity it isn't a civic type R, then he could be arch-chav-bishop)...

How freaky is it being back?
Weirdness is - I'm going to be there NEXT week for ON FIRE (the Charismatic Catholic Renewal conference) and part of me did think how cool it would be to see everyone (but then realised you wouldn't all be there :'( )
