actually, on second thought...

having said that i can't be bothered to post, i then clicked onto the motezuma's website and found this interesting essay about fairtrade. they don't carry the fairtrade badge but instead claim a policy of "trading fairly". they offer something which i have wanted to read for a long time which is a critique of the whole 'fairtrade' brand, what's more they go even further to spell out an alternative and, in their opinion, better option. i'll let you read the essay yourself as my brain really is too fuddled to try to understand it for myself, however it seems sound enough on first glance.

i'll read it again tomorrow and re-post then, but this should get some thoughts going anyway...
