potato dog

i think i've done it... actually found the world's most disgusting food. i consider myself to be something of a foody, i like to eat and i like to cook. i also like to try new things, particularly if they are odd sounding. this was too good to be true...


the potato dog... mmmmmmmm

the brake website described it thus:
" It consists a frankfurter style sausage coated with rosti potato, pre-fried to enable ovening and frozen. The sausage is made from pork & bacon. The potato dog is supplied with a serving sleeve, shown on the new lines leaflet, making it an ideal product for take away snack outlets. 20 dogs per case. Approx. 140g each. Beef free product."

oddly it missed out on how much fat and how many calories it contained, odd that.

i suppose I should have been suspicious when the guy in the petrol staion gave me three for the price of one, they were that desperate to get rid of the things. to my great shame i have to confess that i did eat 2 of them, sorry. just for your info, it was even more revolting than the bagel dog i once had on waterloo station...
